Victor rotary machines are fitted with a trip switch designed to protect the motor, should the driveboard come into contact with an unusual amount of resistance. The reset the trip switch, we recommend following these steps.
Step 1: Identify the Issue of why the Rotary machine has tripped
Check if the problem is a dirty pad, a common cause of machine cutouts.
Is the floor sticky?
Are you using the correct pad with the correct speed machine?
Is the floorpad correct for the floor type?
Step 2: Locate the Reset Button
Find the reset button, usually under the motor cowl.
Look for a black and orange label about four or five inches from the edge.
There is a gap between the motor cover and the base. Feel inside the cover util you locate the push button.
Step 3: Press the Reset Button
Press the small plunger switch to reset the machine.
Step 5: Older Machines
For older machines, the reset button might be on the outside, still indicated by the label.
